La Grange

These horses are a mix of Arabian horses which were taken to the La Grange mission and bred with stock horses.

They were Crabbett Arabians imported from England. Some were taken up to Waterbank where they bred with the station horses which had been brought in from Kalumburu and Lake Gregory

Many of the La Grange horses were culled on Bidyadanga. ( La Grange mission left the horses there when the mission closed).

Galleries from our work in La Grange featuring horses now living on Waterbank.

Caution: The second gallery contains images from the La Grange cull.
